There is no greater reward for a teacher than to witness every student master every techniques taught. That is the ultimate fulfillment of a teacher’s journey In this seminar, the students' passion and hunger for knowledge created a rare atmosphere where understanding became effortless. ​What moved me most, however, was the profound sense of family within the group. They did not learn in isolation, but rose together as a team, each helping the other bridge the gap between effort and mastery. This is the true essence of the art, fun, camaraderie, and a shared heartbeat. ​I want to extend my deepest admiration to the organizer and head teacher GM Tomi with his wife Guro Ruby. Their dedication as head teachers has 'brought up' a generation of practitioners who treat the Filipino Fighting Arts with the respect and discipline they deserve. Their hands-on guidance was instrumental in helping the students execute each movement with precision. Seeing the entire group celebrate on the last day, crossing sword and dagger in the spirit of friendship, reminded me of how learning should always be. I am profoundly thankful to have successfully imparted a system close to my heart to such a solid and supportive team. My heart is full, knowing that a system so dear to me has found such a worthy and vibrant home.
